Local 2544 is the largest law enforcement association in the state of Arizona, as well as the largest Border Patrol Local in the nation. Our men and women patrol the busiest and most lawless corridor in the United States, with illegal alien arrests and narcotics seizures nearly doubling that of the 18 other Border Patrol Sectors throughout the United States combined.
You have brought a fresh approach to the political landscape and our men and women noticed this approach immediately on your recent tour of the border. Agents from Douglas to Nogales saw first hand your interest and concern in the important job and mission each of them performs on a daily basis. The White Mountain conservatives are the largest conservative group in this region and have members from all over the White Mountain area including Navajo and Apache County.
This recommendation is based on three separate polls: Congressional Candidate Jobs Forum on Feb. 23rd with Beauchamp securing 90% of the votes; the group's website poll of all CD-1 candidates, also at 90%; and a straw poll taken April 1 at the monthly meeting with Mr. Beauchamp leading with 64% of the votes cast. The White Mountains Conservatives recognize that Bradley Beauchamp is the leading Republican candidate to defeat Ann Kirkpatrick in November 2010.
